Cousins!

Aaron and Joshua have some of the most beautiful cousins.
This is Sara Kate and Emma. I just had to share this picture...it has to be one of the most adorable pictures I've ever seen. I hope our boys can be this sweet to each other in the future. I'm not counting on it though. Sisters are just different.

FALL PICTURES

I love taking pictures of the boys outdoors, so they have to put up with a lot during the Fall. We went onto campus this afternoon and took a few while they played. It was very hard getting pictures that were not blurred by their activities. (Joshua especially)
I'm only posting a few of the best ones.
For time's sake, I'm going to post several times to include the pictures. Our computer is so slow.

More Birthday Weekend Pictures

The yard finally gets cleaned up for the party.

Aaron's 3rd Birthday Party

These are a few pictures from Aaron's 3rd Birthday party. We really had a good time visiting with grandpartents and great-grandparents. It's hard to believe that he's already three!!! I know I keep saying that, but it's true! More pictures to come...

Grown Up Aaron

I just thought that these were some good "big boy" pictures of Aaron. They were taken in his bedroom before we left for church. He loves to dress for church and wear his "Poppi belt". He now sits in the worship service with us. (He's too old for the nursery...it's not our choice...are you kidding me?) He's done pretty well so far...we'll see.
Look out Temple Baptist when they turn Joshua loose!

What a view!

I was thinking the other day about the little things that we take for granted. As I drove down the road (don't worry, I was concentrating on driving too...) I had the urge to turn the rearview mirror down to see the boys. There were their sweet facing smiling back at me. Sometimes I get in such a hurry that I forget to thank God for these "small" gifts. They remind me daily to enjoys the little things in life from small insects to hugs and pats on the leg. Nothing is so sweet as hearing, "I love you Momma."

Sunday Morning at the Cabin

I'm still trying to catch everyone up on photographs. This was at Darden Lake in September.
Not much of a story to go with them, sorry. Just pictures...

Our Ball of Energy

Joshua has become such an active little boy. No longer do I consider him a baby. He's just ALL OR NOTHING all the time. 110 % BOY!!! These are a few photos I took of him playing in the yard. How do little boys know how to fight with sticks? They are not taught, but yet they know!?! It's a mystery...

Just a Normal Night in the Thompson Household...

Aunt Brenda wanted to know if I was in the habit of using poor Joshie's
bellybutton for a handle? He doesn't seem to mind, does he?
You catch him any way you know how... (I look a bit tired in this picture)
Aaron is helping Daniel "study" for a test in Biblical Backgrounds.
I don't know how much studying gets done, but I like how Grandma puts it,
"you can tell the important things are getting done."

Joshua and Scrappy Pappy

I didn't want to post a picture of Aaron with Poppi and not one of Joshua with Scrappy Pappy (Daniel's Daddy). Joshua has begun to get more attention from the grandfathers now that he's getting older. I guess that's normal. This picture was taken at Morgantown back in August.

Aaron and His Poppi

This photograph was taken sometime in August at Darden Lake. Aaron and Poppi (Holly's Daddy) really are the best of friends. Not a day goes by that Aaron doesn't say something to me that ends in, "just like Poppi, Momma!" I'm so glad that we live close enough for them to visit often. Daddy and Lowell have a real responsibility in molding these two boys whether they know it or not. I'm glad that the Lord has blessed our babies with two wonderful grandfathers. (We'll talk about the grandmothers later, hahaha)

Where to Begin?

It has been kindly brought to my attention that I have not posted in quite some time. I will not share excuses (although I think they are good), but commit to doing better in the future. The windows of our lives will once more be opened to our loved ones. Enjoy!
